The "average" person is a relative term. By your definition, the equivalent of the "working man/woman", which again is relative as most developing nations are excluded from this dichotomy of wealth, AI, and wealth creation.
Having said that, the universalism of the "elite" does in fact support the notion that a "they/them" persist at the expense of the rest. Perhaps the most apt identifier for the "them" should then be: "superparasite".
