Hey Ben, watched your Cosmism Lecture recently. Were you thinking of making a Cosmist Priesthood? Science is a priesthood, there are three-degrees, Bachelor, Master and Phd, where a High-Priest is called a Professor.
I've been working on a Cosmist like belief-system since I was 12. Also I'm a third-generation computer-programmer, my granfather helped build the first computer in kiev, and my grandmother had a Phd. in semi-conductors and was a scientific leader of a mainframe. my great-grandfather graduated from agricultural-school and the christian-priesthood. my great-uncle is a High-Priest (Professor) of Astro-physics, he seems quite impressed by my ideas. So what are your thoughts about programming the Turing-machine that is our experience(universe/quantum-fog)? It's similar to the Wiccan concept of magic-spell-casting. It makes living in paradise easier. Since we can simply program our future experience.
