Lossless also, "trend + correction" or "low freq + high freq". I am an
unbeliever in compression but clearly "simple" systems can be modelled and
forecast any way you want. Predicting SHA-2 digits, moves in an 80 move
forced chess win, protein folds, the next notes in a classical symphony, IQ
from DNA, all much more interesting!
