I think I see what you mean by this -- that if we can't properly define what "understanding" means how do we advance to compressing it? I see a further problem that some would entirely discount. There has never been any proof that I am aware of that the mind actually has anything like a spatial extension. I know, obviously the wetware has -- but I'm talking about the resulting mind. If there is no spatial extension of mind how then do we advance to compressing it? > > ------------------------------------------- > AGI > Archives: https://www.listbox.com/member/archive/303/=now > RSS Feed: https://www.listbox.com/member/archive/rss/303/11943661-d9279dae > Modify Your Subscription: https://www.listbox.com/member/?& > Powered by Listbox: http://www.listbox.com ------------------------------------------- AGI Archives: https://www.listbox.com/member/archive/303/=now RSS Feed: https://www.listbox.com/member/archive/rss/303/21088071-c97d2393 Modify Your Subscription: https://www.listbox.com/member/?member_id=21088071&id_secret=21088071-2484a968 Powered by Listbox: http://www.listbox.com
