The BIG question is: Who get the quadrillion dollars? It sure won't be you, because you don't have the funding to make this a reality, and you don't have an army to protect it once it is a reality.
Since there isn't a quadrillion dollars in circulation, it would have to be printed and therefore have its value inflated away, or owed to you in the hope that they have the money in the future, which is impossible since that much money doesn't exist. People come up with super-valuable technology all the time, but most end up with nothing. If you look for the people who developed the basic technologies you use every day, you will discover that many of them have less than you now have. Bill Gates made a fortune on MSDOS. The programmer got $20K. There are many such stories, including my own. Either a social reformation will occur before AGI appears, or most of the world's population, probably including you and whoever else invents AGI, will starve as a result. As things now stand, I see AGI as MUCH more of a threat than a promise. Years ago I got to know an international weapons trader. He advised me NOT to work on high-tech weapons because your country would rather have you dead so you can't spread the technology elsewhere, and other countries would rather have you dead to keep you from advancing your technology. I see AGI as being the same - EVERY government would have an interest in your demise. Someone once said "NEVER be worth more dead than alive." Further, if you read my prior postings where I explained to Ben the VERY negative value of near-term AGI predictions on everyone working in the field, you would see the negative value of your own posting. Hyping AGI is DANGEROUS to us all, including you.
