I made a serious intuitive-logical mistake in my 3-SAT solver. The first
stage of fixing the error looks like it will be easy. The second stage of
the repair looks like it will be very difficult but I think the plan may
still be feasible.

Matt asked me why I thought that I could solve this problem when so many
other people have not been able to. I responded by saying that I was able
to acknowledge my mistakes. We all make mistakes but it is another thing to
be able to recognize it and react strongly to an error that was partially
or fully your own.

There are other reasons why I think I may be able to solve this problem
when so many smart people have not been able to:

I am not everyone else. I am an individual and I may have some mathematical
peculiarities which allow me to look at the problem a little differently.

I still believe that there is a slight possibility that the Lord let me
know, indirectly, that I had a plan that would work. (I am not certain of
that, I only said that there was a slight possibility.)

Finally I have discovered something that is new to me and very surprising.
I can't tell if it is just an interesting triviality (a special case that
has limited application) or if it might serve as a basis for a viable
solution and a way to advance other problems. But it is worth looking into.
