If brain emulation couldn't be done without magic pixie dust, they would
drop everything and focus all attention on obtaining pixies and
industralizing the process of harvesting their dust... =|

No argument based on any form of common sense will have any impact at
all on them. =(

You see, it has been decided that the inevitable, ultimate, future of
humanity is to exist as brain-scanned uploads. You don't get to have a
