Brad, I do agree with this assessment of human brain design -- but I think
an AGI with superhuman intelligence can have a much more compact underlying
design.

This is one reason why I don't advocate modeling AGI designs closely on the
brain (another, more important reason being that neuroscience is still so
damn primitive and incomplete...)
