Inasmuch as mine (still gotta come up with a name) hunts thru N-spaces for useful representations, and a picture is trivially represented by a numeric vector, and a movie is a trajectory thru a picture space, yes. It's well understood that there are 2-D maps in the brain, many in visual cortex, and I'm expecting to have some special-purpose code for them. That said, thinking that our visualization skills involve manipulating pictures is largely illusory. Most is done by higher-level (and much more efficient) nodes in the visual interpretation hierarchy.
