Robin, I think there is compelling evidence, but I have reached that point only after thousands of hours of study and thought.
Obviously my judgment is, at this point, unproven and subjective, You are entitled to your different subjective judgement. I am sorry that my paper has failed to convey the reasons for my beliefs better, but they are not easy to communicate, particularly to those who share the viewpoints most agreed with and rewarded in the AI community.
