No, not really. Last year the last of three kids left the nest and I promptly escaped from a couple of decades+ as a technical manager in scientific instruments (spectroscopy, electron microscopy, atomic force microscopy). I'm presently building my own business involving natural language processing among other technologies, and continuing to explore opportunities in futurist circles where my deeper long-term interests lie.
