There is no end to the ways that a computer can draw a circle.

You can imagine a computer controlling a paint brush or plotter (as
Aaron does) and be completely oblivious to the dots.

These seem to be doing the sorts of things you want, caricatures etc.
That is not to say they are concious or the right path to AGI. Just
that your requirements of visual or image creativity can be mimicked
by unthinking computations ;)
