Richard: I'm afraid I do not have the time to argue, simply because the level of general expertise here is not such that I can discuss it without explaining the whole critique from scratch.
Thanks for refs. It is all important. But imprecise neuronal correlational with emotions (or awareness of) doesn't strike me as a v.big deal, since emotions are so vague anyway. If you have criticisms of the lack of correlation with more precise cognitive observations, like words or sights, that would be v. interesting.
