My view on the efficiency of the brain's learning has to do with low latency communications in general, which is a similar concept to high frame rates, but not limited to the visual senses. Low latency produces rapid feedback. Rapid feedback produces rapid adaptation, and the reduced weight of the time axis in the formula results in a reduction of short-term memory loss and thus more resources for the brain to work with.
