In fact it is not... the problem are with Dreamhost, you do not have a  
real environment there, only a virtualization, a part from that Agilo  
requires just one dependency with simplejson, that's all, and can be  
installed with easy_install, simply by:

$ easy_install binary-agilo....

That's all you have to do... and than of course a:

$ trac-admin <project env> upgrade

Why you didn't start downloading the VM, it is already everything  
installed, and is a debian linux environment... just download and  
play :-) or if you have Windows, you could test the installer.

That is not a problem, Agilo is Open Source, more control than the  
source you can't have ;-)
