This affects all fields that are defined as editable, in my case the
user story points and the business value points.

I'm a trac_admin and product_owner.

I mean the inline editor in the "old" backlog. When I'm inline editing
a user story that has no user story points filled in, the user story
points dropdown list defaults to the last item in the list. So when I
save the user story it has filled the user story points, even though I
don't want that. So I have to explicitly empty the user story points
dropdown list.

No, there's no plugins installed.
