I am having the same problem and tried to work around it last week
with no success, I will be trying again next week to make another
attempt at an even larger change.
My 1rst attempt was to create another component (in rules.py) that
component would do
if storypoints value changes then remainingtime=storypoints
if ticket is resolved then remainingtime=storypoints*2/3 (estimating
dev work is 2/3 of the time of completing user stories)
if ticket is changed to closed and storypoints>0 then remainingtime=0

I hit couple problems, 1 it won't allow me to save anything in
remainingtime unless remaining_time is a field for the ticket and I
couldn't set it for user stories because the backlog views would stop
working.

I am hoping to have time around the holidays to
1. create a listener to store storypoints mark downs (with the logic
above) just like it does with remainingtimes
2. update the graphs to use storypoints data instead of
remainingtimes.

My guess is that would take me about 3+ days, I will put an update if
I get something working.
