Hi Martin.
Thanks for your reply.
I have only just had the time to go back and try to get this working,
successfully by the looks of it. So I thought I should share my solution
with the list for future reference.
Firstly, in answer to your question:
Did you also try the javascript thats described in there and what was
it's output?
I did try this, it returned "undefined" - which wasn't overly helpful.
The new version places somewhat more strict limitations on stories and
tasks (in earlier versions this would just lead to the backlog rendering
wrong things).
Most often this is caused by wrong links (tasks linking to other tasks
or the like) or story-like backlog entries having a field
'remaining_time' which classifies them as task-like (and therefore
unable to have children) to Agilo.
We have multiple projects, some of which make use of user stories, some
of which don't.
On one project, I simply modified the backlog settings for sprints to
include planned tickets, and to include all ticket types, which suddenly
showed up all the tickets I was expecting.
On another project, we had removed the 'user story' type of ticket
altogether, which proved to be a problem for Agilo. Recreating the 'user
story' type with the same default fields and setting the backlog to
include planned tickets as before, had us up and running again.
In future I will know to be careful if removing or altering the default
ticket types with Agilo.
Many thanks.
Finn.
