As you already mentioned, using a shared account for "chickens" is the 
usual workaround. Since there's no ability to disable Pro 
features only for some users, I wanted to add that the user limit does 
not apply to the number of registered users, but only to logins per day. 
So if you have 10 users in your Trac instance, but only 6 of them log in 
per day, you are fine with 6 licenses. If you exceed the limit, Pro 
functionality will be disabled for the remainder of the day.
