Hi Stefano, I formerly tested it also with modules "cgi" and "fastcgi". At least fastcgi should be almost fine running with Trac. But, with both I had the same bad performance. No difference.
I also tried using "wsgi", but could not set it up due to some other weird errors. So, I gave this up. I will retry using wsgi, but I am pretty sure that this is not the cause. There will be not a 25 sec difference in using all these alternatives. Cheers Ralf PS: All this "running Python with Apache" stuff is strange and needs more time to setup and troubleshoot than the apps itself.
