I don't know which instance of B you're playing, but the one I'm
playing has been hit with so many scams since the adoption of "a
contract says I shall, therefore I do" (*) that I've lost count.
* I am not making this up. Rule 4E70, relevant excerpt:
When a Player becomes obligated to perform an unambiguous Game
Action by a Contract, that Game Action is performed as if the
Player had sent it to the public forum.
