Also to add: my informal case assignment didn't include Alexis's arguments, but the judge is perfectly free to take any snippets from any source (including Discussion forum) and quote those, even if they're not in the assignment log. In making the initial assignment, I enter Caller's Arguments, and then if anyone else entered a clear Counter Argument, I try to include or summarize it as "Gratuitous arguments" for the judge's convenience. But there might be discussion going on, and further counterarguments made after the assignment, those are all fair game to grab, cite, or disagree with in the judge's arguments even if I miss them in the case log. If someone used an argument that you want to cite but isn't in the case log, just quote it in the judge's arguments. -G.
