Historically, some contracts that are intended to be economic/gameplay
rather than an object of scamming have asked people to join them to
make use of their services, meaning that there's some method available
for binding would-be scamsters to actually use the contract as
intended.

(Note that regardless of what choice you make in this respect, someone
will probably find a way to scam it.)
