here is a place for all the idsoftware source.
I never checked all of it out, however here are things.

Generic directory in this folder is source however, it seems at least
wolf, quake 1 2 3 and 4 have source directories within them eg
/idstuff/doom3/source.
there are also sdks here.
One thing though is because some libraries are coppywrited idsoftware
sources use free libraries which they claim are not as good.
But they have sources not just for their games or qc programming but
have sources for their tools, even down to their internet protocals
and their setup installers.
There is a lot of stuff in the idstuff folder and should be checked out.
