Hey,

I second the motion of having a class as well; However, I think the hard part will be finding the ideal forum. One of the really cool aspects of this game is that it's not tied to the Windows platform. I often play on my Windows box, but I also have a linux box running the game, and I may try to get it working on my Mac mini as well. Point being, if you were to do a class like this, it would be a shame to host it in a forum where in only Windows users were able To attend.

Skype is very usable under Windows, and I think I've heard success stories from Mac users as well. There is a version of skype for linux; However, it is KDE based, so at present is inaccessible, even with the Orca screen reader. Speak Freely may be a viable option. I know that there are versions of that which will run under Windows as well as Linux and therefore, most likely one for Open Darwin as well, so the Mac crowd wouldn't be left out; However, I've never used it, and can't attest to its quality.

Does anyone else have any thoughts?

Subject: [AGRIP-discuss] Mod Pack 3.7 - future - a couple of questions foryou...

Hi All, well Mod Pack 3.7 is here! -along with it's source code and impulse list at:

 http://tbrn.net/modgirl

Which brings me to the future of the mod packs; I have about four more mods planned out so I'll be releasing how ever many Mod Packs that will entail and that will probably be about it for my mods, save the occasional idea I may have, and want to add. <smile> So I'm wondering about something. I'd really like to see this continue, as I think the agrip project / Audio quake should continue to grow. I'm wondering if anyone else might be interested in learning Quake C / how to mod the game?...

Rather than creating a number of tutorials which would be way more time consuming than I'm willing to deal with, I thought it might be nice to offer a class or two via some form of voice chat / internet radio style broadcast which could be focused on Q and A in real time.

  What are your thoughts?...

Have a wonderful weekend! Talk with you soon!...

Smiles,

Mod Girl
