I have to take issue with this attitude... at first it seems like a
great way to be thinking but what you really need to be thinking is ``we
need to get these features into stock AQ so that all mods automagically
inherit them''.  That way, everyone who writes a mod gets them for free.
 The community can be in charge of adding core features and developing
the core AQ game, so that mods can benefit from such stuff.

I hope you see that I'm not saying this as a personal attack or anything
like that; I'm just concerned that when Sebby and I give up the reins,
everyone will go off reinventing the wheel and making up all these
really great features on their own, in their own mods.  What we'd love
to see is everyone working together on the base AQ code.  I think that
is the best approach for everyone and -- believe me -- we do intend to
give you all that level of control soon after we've sorted 0.3.0 and the
optional 0.3.1 releases.

I hope this explains where we're coming from and why!  Thanks again for
these great suggestions!
