Hi there, The game still works, but if you have anything other then the standard ones that ship with Quake, connecting to a serverr is okay, but if there are any other map that you don't, you'll not be able to download them and therefore not be able to play on them. My server had some other ones that I created with ldl, but until they fix the download options again, we're stuck... unless someone that runs the server in question gives you a place to download maps models sounds etc that aren't already part of the mod to which their're attached. Hope that helps a bit, I'm not home right now but my server, if it's still up is standard aq and just has stock maps so should be playable, not quite as much fun as jq I'm afraid, but there it is..
