Where do I get Overkill? I've been looking for it all over the net but no
luck so far.
Thanks!

Subject: Re: [AGRIP-discuss] Looking for Mods
Hi Ken, JQ and Overkill are the only mods which work with AQ at this time.
quake 1 can only run 1 mod at a time; AQ is, itself, a mod of Quake 1. So
trying to install other mods won't work, as there will be no accessibility
features at best, and at worst, the mods may not even work with the ZQuake
engine that AQ uses for Quake.
In order to create a mod which can be used with AQ, we actually need to,
in effect, mod a mod. <smile>
AQ is a mod, and we'd need to further mod it to add the features we like.
So this is exactly how JQ and OK are built.
I'd set up some scheduled voice chats a couple of years back, to start
teaching people about QC and modding but there was no interest.
There is quite a lot of material on the web about this, but it's still not
the easiest thing to learn in my opinion, as there is really no start to
finish courses or truly thorough tutorials, which I think a lot of people
would need.
If people would like one-on-one lessons or chats, I'd be happy to do that
but I'd ask for some payment for my time.
Anyway, I hope this makes sense and do feel free to be in touch, K?…
Have a great weekend!…
Smiles,
Cara :)

find.) I've tried compiling mods for Quake1 that I found on the net, but no
luck with any of them--and I didn't even try messing with the code cuz I
don't know what I'm doing yet. I've been trying to learn Quake C for about
two weeks now but haven't got far--the language baffles me. Any thoughts on
any of this would be helpful.
