Hey there Zach: I've fought with AQ under pretty much every accessible
distro of linux I know of except Arch. I'm afraid I've nothing 64 bit
so can't answer to that, but as to the password problem, I can help.
If you look in the start.ini file in your .zquake directory, you'll see
where the username and password are, just put whatever you want your
name to be in the username, and whatever you want in the password line,
because that doesn't work anyway, and then at the end of the file put
valid=1
Save the file and that will take away that annoying little message
about incorrect password. Also, did you install the
libconfig-tiny-perl package? I don't think Arch has it, but you can
google for it, I know Debian has it, as does Ubuntu, and I know that
you can get it as source from Debian also.
I think you may also need eflite, which is a part of emacs I think, but
you don't actually need emacs just eflite, and flite as well for the
speech engine. but I'm probably rambling about what you already know...
sorry about that, anyway hope I helped some... (grin)
Take care...
Cheereo!
