Didn't see this pop on the list, so I'm sending it again:

I am having a problem with the very simple line of code:
"bind SPACE "+lookup;wait;+attack;wait;-attack;wait;-lookup"
This line, nor any number of variations I've tried, does *NOT* do what you'd
think. Even adding a "+lookdown," routine doesn't help. Instead, the
character fire looks up, fires twice and never looks down again. Similar code
to look down and shoot has a similar effect; two attacks and subsequent
deviation from center.

This, combined with earlier bugs I have pointed out--serious ones involving
mis-crediting of kill points and "phantom deaths," etc., leaves me with serious
doubts about the wisdom of the "upgrades," to JQ that have recently come out.
I have repeatedly asked that these issues be addressed by the "developer," but
nothing has been done; instead, I'm told that "It's because you're using a Mac,
so get Windows and all your problems will go away." While I do not know if
this is true, simple coding bugs like the one mentioned above would reside in
the very core of the Quake engine, and Unix is Unix. Plus, no possible Mac
client bug could produce false scoring and game messages on the server side.

The latest upgrades of the JQ mod have, in short, basically ruined the game for
me; they have created a frustrating, negative experience. I'm sad at what this
project has "developed," into, and I wish I had the patience and time to learn
all the code myself, but I don't.
Please, someone... fix this? Last rant.
