Well said, Neil!
Unfortunately, if you spend years developing the
software to do what you think needs done - because
no-one else will do so - you get your knuckles rapped
when you refer to it in answers to queries on the list
(even the free versions).
I agree that we do not want to turn the AI-Geostats
list into an advertising free-for-all but it is very
difficult not to refer to what you consider the
perfect solution to a particular problem.
Maybe we should have a debate on the list on what is
and isn't acceptable to the general reading public?
Gregoire does a great job of running this list but it
is up to us to maintain the standards in our own
contributions, not so?
