Hola Estimates Mail List   I have a theory question that many peoples may be are interesting to know, it is about screen effect.   In these case screen effect cause the screening of the points in dependence of the angle, for example if exist 2 points aligned the closed point screening the point with large distance and accumulate the mayor quantity of the weights. Changing the position but not the distances, rotation for increase the angle between  the 2 sample points the closed point decrease in weight and the second or further take the weight loosed  by the first (see these example in GSLIB user manual)   The question is if no information about position exist in the variogram, only distance, what is the mathematic cause of these effect?   As many peoples have see, in the text bock are explained the effect but not the reasons. And I don like the mystic thins that make a little BUDU the geostatistics.
