Dear Sotiris,

There was no reply with any magic solution.

In addition to the reply from Sebastiano Trevisani which was also sent
to the list, I received the following mail from Monica Palaseanu-Lovejoy
(see below). It is helpful but not exactly what I was looking for.

Best regards

Gregoire

I am not sure this works, but maybe if you do a multivariate comparison
of
the different variables and use a robust correlation coefficient it may
give
you some ideas if the 2 or more variables behave the same in space. it
is a
routine already in R which does exactly that, called "mvoutlier: This
packages was made for outlier detection using robust estimations of
location
and covariance structure" by Moritz Gschwandtner and Peter Filzmoser and

http://www.statistik.tuwien.ac.at/public/filz/

R is a free statistical software - it is equivalent with S-PLUS. Let me
know
if it works."

AI-GEOSTATS
Dear Gregoire,

Did you receive any replies to the email you send back in March? If yes,

could you post a summary of the replies to the list?

Many thanks in advance,
Sotiris

surfaces

Dear list,

I am looking for reading material in which variogram surfaces (or
autocorrelation maps) obtained for different variables are compared and
the approach used discussed.

Thank you for your help & suggestions.

Best regards,

Gregoire
