-- You received this bug notification because you are a member of AIMS, which is subscribed to the bug report. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1057355 Title: texmaker opens duplicate copy of tex file when clicking jump to line using synctex Status in “texmaker” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Hi When enabling synctex (-synctex=1 as an option to pdflatex) and having a filel of the form master.tex: \begin{document} \input{ch1.tex} \input{ch2.tex} \input{ch3.tex} \end{document} And working with all the tex files open in texmaker, when clicking "jump to line" in the PDF to move to the corresponding source code line, texmaker opens a duplicate of the tex file being input, e.g. there will then be TWO copies of ch2.tex open in texmaker, leading to confusion, and usually lost work. If texmaker already has the file open, a new copy should not be opened.
