Title:
  texmaker opens duplicate copy of tex file when clicking jump to line
  using synctex

Status in texmaker package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  Hi

  When enabling synctex (-synctex=1 as an option to pdflatex) and having
  a filel of the form

  master.tex:
  \begin{document}
   \input{ch1.tex}
   \input{ch2.tex}
   \input{ch3.tex}
  \end{document}

  And working with all the tex files open in texmaker, when clicking
  "jump to line" in the PDF to move to the corresponding source code
  line, texmaker opens a duplicate of the tex file being input, e.g.
  there will then be TWO copies of ch2.tex open in texmaker, leading to
  confusion, and usually lost work.

  If texmaker already has the file open, a new copy should not be
  opened.
