I looked at Shiro & it seems a really good simple framework for systems which
doesn't already have a security framework implemented. I'm trying to see if we
can plug shiro ontop of the existing security manager (eg: jackrabbit security
manager) to work with XBaya.
For the time being I'm implementing a simple user manager API catered for the
requirements for XBaya GUI to introduce user management for JCR registries. One
way or the other it should make the introduction of a security framework like
shiro much simpler at a later stage.
