It has destroyed the lives of many PROFESSIONAL medical imaging practitioners who have lost their businesses & are forced to work for hospitals or radiologists/large companies. Fortunately I can still operate U/S outside HIC. If I were to be registered & then forced to work under "close supervision" then I would lose the rest of my independence & income, as would my employees, who are treated with the professional respect & independence we are talking about trying to gain through registration. We need to open doors, not close them.
