Hi Peter,

I can't speak for what goes on in the examination room but I played a
hand in setting up the appointment software for Hunter Imaging in
Newcastle and as a result of the HIC rulings, in particular reference to
MSK US, we made sure that whenever one of these US were booked then the
appropriate amount of the drs time was also booked. As far as I was
aware the drs did actually see every patient that was booked under their
name. I haven't worked there for a few years now but the software is
still in use and I'm sure the process is the same.
