From: "Stephen Cottril" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> This is a correct me if I am wrong please answer. My understanding is that given appropriate collimation that Pb shielding wo= uld have little or no effect and that any potential harm to the patient ari= ses from the secondary radiation produced from the patient (and Bucky etc i= f in the department). Pb shielding would have minimal advantage here unless= in the case of a department Bucky film the shielding was actually on the f= ront of the patient for a PA film.(ie on the Bucky side of patient).
