Strategic Disaster Recovery (D/R) Plan development and implementation. The client requires a strategic D/R plan for their two data centers and requires Application Recovery Plans for ~11 custom applications over a 6 month time frame. This position requires a resource that has prior D/R plan development and implementation experience. The position will require technical leadership for Enterprise Storage Data Center implementation alternatives that will be proposed to meet recovery objective timeframes. Required Skills - Knowledge of EMC SAN Storage solutions is a must; EMC Clariion Replication; SAN Fabric design (Cisco MDS 9509) Provide primary job duties: 1 - Provide technical direction for Strategic Disaster Recovery Plan storage implementation alternatives. 2 - Work with client infrastructure and application Subject Matter Experts to develop storage alternative requirements. 3 - Develop written communications describing storage implementation alternatives, associated costs and pros/cons. 4 - Present verbal communications regarding storage alternatives to client, contractors and 5 - Provide support to other team members for any cross-discipline dependencies to develop comprehensive alternatives.
