Okay, so I'm almost certainly missing something obvious: The <script> elements are being written into the html, but the ashx files aren't there. Quickwatch shows that the innerHtml of the relevant script objects is "".
I'm guessing that the files should be generated automatically, but it's not happening - even the demo app works fine until I click on a link in, for example, AjaxDemo/Examples/Classes/default.aspx. I did a search for .ashx files but there are none. Any clues gratefully received!!
