Michael, I understand your argument that you want to known all the bytes transferred. But then again why should I use Ajax.NET, it's the same; you're using (a lot) predefined code. I think myself as a good JavaScript programmer but I would love to program is more easily in a good IDE with good IntelliSense. And I don't see the problem with type safe, it's just an 'add-on' to let you write better JavaScript. Older browser support can be, with a good compiler, one of the strong points of script# let the compiler figure out how to let it work in all different browsers. So I would turn it around, for the express editions you write your own JavaScript en for the pro you use script#.
