I have to agree with Scott - I like Atlas and I like AjaxPro.  Understanding of course what each offers and where to use it.  The features of both overlap in some areas, but for the most part comparing the two would be like comparing apples and oranges.  In the long run, I think Atlas will be a *fantastic* library.  But as most have said, it is still in CTP.  With that said, I have one project currently running that is building on top of Atlas, and another using AjaxPro.  It will be interesting to compare the two once finished.

I will offer up this point in dissent, not necessarily an indictment of AjaxPro or Michael, but rather where we stand in early adoption of Web 2.0.  AjaxPro is great, but in order to put together an entire Web 2.0 solution, you have to piece together a smattering of open source libraries.  For example, I use the Yahoo UI library with AjaxPro.Net to do similiar things I can do with Atlas off the shelf.  These are the types of decisions that an Architect or Team lead running a project for a major corporation will evaluate - along with how technically sound the technology is.  I have members with varying levels of talent, and junior or entry level developers struggle often times with how to put the framework together.  So, IMHO, a library like Atlas is great.  With that said, I would love to see a set of Web 2.0 controls/library that is platform agnostic and integrates easily with a transport library like Michael's...

Hi Scott,
