This may be the case - a lot of developers out there are either not
giving JavaScript a fair amount of time in their studies or they are
simply idiots. JavaScript is great once you really get to know its
idiosyncracies, and this library is one of the best for doing Ajax with
.NET that I know of. Granted, it is not perfect and I would love to
change some things about it (hmmm, too bad it is not open-source), but
it is good enough for my needs for now.
