I think the library is fairly mature and production quality.  Howvever, I do encounter some strange things from time to time that I have been able to isolated as AjaxPro.  For example, serializing an object graph sometimes causes the service to crash and become unavailable.  I am working through a solution right now, I believe it has to do with one of the object collections being unfilled.
