Hi Andrew, removing some files from the Akka repository’s master branch does not remove them from past releases: you will be able to use Akka 2.2.x for quite a while. Another option is to simply copy the files from the release-2.2 branch into a project of yours and update to Akka 2.3.0 once that comes out.
