Seems to be a lot of it going about, I was off earlier in the week and I've
come in today and everyone in my department is off.
My first reaction would be to say we should merge the navigation but looking
at the Jakarta navigation it doesn't really lend itself to doing this. We
could use a horizontal Navigation bar to add navigation, but I can't quite
visualise that working cleanly (Might be work a try though).
I'd say have a little fiddle and if it looks like it's going no where just
kill off the Jakarta navigation, we can always revisit this once we get a
feel for things.

Sorry about the delay I've been sick (still am ;-) but I am just about
complete with the site docs re-worked for using the new velocity stuff and I
had a quick question. Velocity uses a file called project.xml which defines
the side-navigation and I noticed someone uploaded site-book.xml which
appears to be the same kind of thing. My question is do we want to
completely abandon the jakarta side navigation or meld it somehow with the
alexandria navigation?
