Nudge, nudge.  ;-)

I really think it would be about a few hours work (replace gen.sh and
bash.xsl with gen.py and python.xsl).  If it turns out that an Ant
implementation ends up with reduced function or is more difficult to
implement/maintain, then what is the value?  Don't get me wrong, I love
Ant...

One thing I like about what I have got now is that I can watch the builds
as they progress.

I guess keeping it out of the project defs is what I was concerned about.
