It's great to see that the project is under active development again. It has
a lot of potential to be really cool.
However, one thing that slightly disturbs us is that the Alexandria code has
been in violation of our CoolServlets license since almost the inception of
the project. We discussed this with Kevin quite some time ago, but it looks
like nobody bothered to fix the problem. CodeTransform.java is a hacked up
version of our code formatting class (CodeViewer.java). See the license for
our code at the bottom of this message.
For the curious, our original code can be found in such interesting places
as the Swing demo that comes with JDK 1.3. Even Sun is decent enough to
leave the license in the source file. Isn't an Apache project willing to
extend the same courtesy? :)
