Gump does depend on binaries. See http://jakarta.apache.org/builds/gump/latest/packages.html http://jakarta.apache.org/builds/gump/latest/cvsjars.html Contrary to popular perception, the essence of Gump isn't to depend solely on cvs. The essense is that while the people who develops a project should have the FIRST say in what dependencies are used, the person actually building it on their own machine should have the LAST say. The "profile/gump.xml" is merely the set of projects I happen to be interested in. I welcome anyone with a different set of projects (either larger or smaller) to participate. - Sam Ruby P.S.
